Bio Pond Clear could not be easier to use. It comes in water-soluble 30g sachets. Simply throw the correct number of sachets into your pond.

4.    How quickly does Bio Pond Clear work? 

 

As every pond eco-system is different, results can vary. Most of the time, you will start to see your pond water change within four to five days, although sometimes it does take a little longer. Your pond should be noticeably clearer within two to four weeks, as long as water temperature is above 10°C. If, after this time, no noticeable change has taken place, apply a second dose. 

 

 

5.    How frequently should I apply Bio Pond Clear? 

 

Often, Bio Pond Clear will clear a pond of algae, blanketweed and green water after just one dosage. To maintain a healthy pond eco-system, it is recommended that you apply Bio Pond Clear every couple of months, when water temperature is above 10°C. 

 

 

6.    Should I remove blanketweed from my pond before application? 

 

Yes, remove as much blanketweed as possible before applying Bio Pond Clear. 

 

 

7.    Is Bio Pond Clear safe for fish & wildlife? 

 

Yes! Bio Pond Clear will actually improve the health of your fish, by improving the quality of the water in which they live. It was originally developed for use in commercial fish farms, angling clubs and fishing lakes. It is not known to have any harmful effects on frogs, newts, birds or any other wildlife.  However,do not overdose your pond as it may affect the oxygen level.  In hot weather water does not hold as much oxygen.  If in any doubt apply a small amount each day over five days. 

 

 

8.    How should I store Bio Pond Clear and how long will it last? 

 

Bio Pond Clear comes in a secure, re-sealable tub. Prevent moisture from entering the tub as the sachets inside dissolve on contact with water. If kept dry and secure, the product can be used for 2 years.
