To calculate how much Bio Pond Clear your pond requires, follow this quick and simple guide:
Measure in centimetres the Average Length (L), Average Width (W) and Average Depth (D) of your pond. To calculate the volume in litres, simply divide by 1000:
L x W x D = V
V / 1000 = Volume in litres
It is recommended that you use Bio Pond Clear every 1 to 2 months to keep your pond eco system in the best condition.
Each 30g sachet treats about 6500 litres of pond water. A Starter Pack of Bio Pond Clear contains one dose – a 30g sachet. A Regular Pack contains 4 doses and a Jumbo Pack contains 12 doses, which is enough to treat 78000 litres!
Bio Pond Clear Instructions
Bio Pond Clear could not be easier to use. It comes in single-dose starch based 30g sachets that dissolve on contact with water. Calculate the number of sachets you need to use using the calculator above.
Clear as much blanketweed as possible before application. Then simply throw the correct number of sachets into your pond and leave the bacteria to get to work. There is no need to mix anything prior to application, no mess, and no fuss at all.
As every pond eco-system is different, results can vary. Most of the time, you will start to see your pond water change within four to five days, although sometimes it does take a little longer. Your pond should be noticeably clearer within two to four weeks, as long as water temperature is above 10°C. If, after this time, no noticeable change has taken place, apply a second dose.
Often, Bio Pond Clear will clear a pond of algae, blanketweed and green water after just one dosage. To maintain a healthy pond eco-system, it is recommended that you apply Bio Pond Clear every couple of months, when water temperature is above 10°C.
Bio Pond Clear is packed in large air tight tubs that will keep it safe and secure. It is important that no moisture enters the tub as the individual sachets are water soluble. If kept dry in their tub, sachets of Bio Pond Clear will keep for up to two years.
