How much does delivery cost?

At YouGarden, our goal is to keep postage and packaging (P&P) simple and fair. Here's what you need to know about delivery costs when placing an order.

Delivery Cost Structure

• One P&P charge per order — regardless of how many items you buy, you'll pay a single delivery fee.
• Delivery charges are £6.99 per order for standard items
• Exception charges (for large items or remote areas) will always be made clear before you complete your order.
• If you have mixed items in your basket [i.e. standard and large], the highest delivery charge will apply to the whole order
• You will find some items with free postage - such as compost and strulch. As these are sent separately, the free postage will not apply to the rest of your order.

Common Exceptions & Additional Charges

There are a few situations where additional charges may apply:

1. Heavy/bulky items — such as statement plants — may incur extra P&P fees. This will be clearly shown on the product page or in your basket.
2. Large machinery or outdoor living items are sent directly by third-party suppliers and are subject to separate P&P charges per item. Any extra fees will be highlighted before despatch.
3. Remote postcode surcharges — certain outlying postcode areas (AB, DD8-11, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-28, KW, PA20-80, PH19-50, TR21-25, ZE) may incur a small extra charge (around £3.00), which is added to cover additional courier fees.
